Help!!! FPS Problems

Hello, this week i sent my pc to the store to install a new water cooler on my pc because I needed it and it was formatted to, it was giving problems and I thought it was temperature but it's still the same, at cs go it's no more than 160 fps at lol it's no more than 100 if someone can tell me where the problem comes from, thanks I remember that it was formatted and took a new cooler (nzxt kraken-x52)

Were you getting higher fps before? I5 4460 is an average cpu, and csgo is quite depended on cpu single core clock.

I think it’s actually expected.

Yes my normal fps were 300 in cs go and 200/250 in lol all in ultra video settings

Do you maybe have the 4460k model? If it was overclocked before,why else would you have a water cooler? ,then it's probably that it runs at stock speeds now.

Check CPU and GPU usage in games, also check temperatures, and what clock speed the CPU is running at.

Bit off the topic, why did you need a liquid cooler for an i5 4460?

Are you playing at a different resolution with the 1060 than you were with the 960?

What are your CPU temps? There may be an issue with your CPU cooler and the CPU is throttling. When a CPU throttles, it downclocks to prevent damage. When it downclocks, your fps will go way down. Download Intel XTU and play a game in windowed mode while keep XTU open next to it. Watch the CPU package temperature while you run the game.

The Intel CPU will throttle at 100C, so if you are seeing the temp go to 100C then you have an issue with your cooling. Check to see if the CPU cooler is seated against the IHS properly. Too much or too little thermal past can cause overheating too.

There is no 4460K. Just the 4460.
