Question Existing build won't post, no error codes after previous start up problems

Hi got an issue with my pc which has been intermittent but now appears permanent.
Problem began after pc was left in sleep mode and my wife decided to turn it off at the mains, following that it wouldn't boot and took 4 or 5 presses of the reset button before it would post. Once it started everything would work fine with no issues gaming etc and close down normally.
Next problem my wife (again 🙄) managed to somehow push the reset button into the case meaning the only way to power on / off when it didn't boot was to hold the power button in for a few seconds. This worked for a week or so (I should have bought a new case but was waiting till this weekend as I've been away) but now won't post at all, no beep codes or display
I've swapped memory slots and tried new RAM with no joy.
Tried onboard graphics still no display - ignore this my cpu has no integrated graphics

Only post beep codes I get is when I completely remove memory or unplug power to graphics card.

My mind is pointing towards my power supply but any help much appreciated

You should've disconnected the reset switch for the case, wired to the motherboard's front panel header.

I've swapped memory slots and tried new RAM with no joy.

Your processor lacks an iGPU so no matter what display output port you hook up to the motherboard, you're not going to get a display out without a discrete GPU.

You might want to source(borrow, not buy) a reliably built 650W PSU and see if you're able to get the system to fire up.

If your BIOS is what's corrupt on the motherboard, then you will need to source a CH341A BIOS programmer toolkit to help recover/reflash the BIOS. If that fails, you're in need of a new motherboard, if a reliably built PSU doesn't revive it. FYI, the CV unit is a horrible unit, rebadged VS unit.

If it is indeed the BIOS being corrupt, then it's a good investment to buy motherboard's that have BIOS recovery options(like Q-Flash Plus or BIOS FlashBack or Flash BIOS) so you can recover said BIOS without additional contraptions.

PSU is a good starting point but a no cost change would be to remove the reset button jumper from your motherboard front panel connector point, the place where the HDD, power button and reset are connected. This will negate the faulty button.

My assumption is that the button is being seen as pressed by the motherboard. If that doesn’t make a difference then look at changing components.
