Hi my friend's computer is having problems with playing games and the computer also restarts randomly. When my friend tries to play Overwatch unexpected errors keep coming up, or when playing league it bug splats. Usually these problems happen as soon as the game opens. Some of the restarts are BSODS as well.

I think it might have something to do with the power supply or graphics card, but i'm not really sure, nor really know how to see. The computer was just reformatted as well.

The specs are:
Operating system: Windows 8.1
Motherboard: B85-D53H
CPU: I5-4690k
GPU: MSI GTX 970

The power and memory are Asian brands, but here are the specs and links to the them.

PSU: 600W 80plus Platinum http://

Memory: 4GBx2 http://

Solution
It sounds like it could be a graphics card problem. I encountered the same issue a few years back and it was my graphics card that was causing the restart and BSOD's. First of all if you havent done so try installing the latest graphic drivers.

If the problem still persists then try running the PC for a while with the graphics card removed to see if it still automatically restarts itself. If it does it could be a problem with the power supply. If not then you know its likely to be the graphics card. Also if possible try borrowing a graphics card from someone and try testing with it to see if it resolves the problem.
