my monitor is dell E1912H and it has only a vga connector.
I am going to buy Gigabyte GTX 660, but it has no vga port.
so how to connect ?
Will using a converter cause performance drop ?
which converter i should use ?
please help.
Does the GIGABYTE gtx 660 come with a dvi to vga converter ? or i have to buy it separately ?
If it says they bundle it, then it comes with it. I know MSI cards usually comes with multiple video adapters (including VGA-DVI).
Based on picture in Newegg (if that is where you're buying), doesn't seem like gigabyte includes adapter. If you're getting a Gigabyte card, you may have to buy a DVI-VGA adapter. They're pretty cheap.
image quality is not much different at all if it is set up properly. he doesnt need a new monitor.
bought gigabyte gtx 660 today and using a dvi to vga converter.
but screen seems to be a bit hazy @1366x768
so i had to switch on to 1360x768. now everything is quite readable.
should i change my converter?
i am using a non branded dual link dvi-i to vga converter
