Hello everyone,

First of all, sorry if this is not the right place to post this, im new

Im having an issue with my graphics card, and i'd appreciate any help or suggestions

A few days ago, my PC screens suddenly went black, and all my fans started running at 100% (probably the GPU ones, didnt check). I restarted the computer using the power button, and everything seemed fine afterward

However, this morning the same thing happened again, but twice in a row within 10 minutes. After the second time, my graphics card completely stopped working, with no display output at all

Heres what Ive tried so far:

I installed a different graphic card in the same PC (radeon 5700xt) , and everything works perfectly, so I dont believe its an issue with any other component in the system or the power supply
The problem appears to be isolated to my original graphics card
Has anyone encountered something like this before, or does anyone have suggestions for additional troubleshooting steps? Could it be a thermal issue, or is the card likely dead?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Setup:
EVGA RTX 3060 XC
Ryzen 5 5600X
b550 aorus elite v2
PSU Mars gaming mpii 750

1 what is the PSU make and model.

2. Did you uninstall the graphics card drivers.

Was the card new or used

3. set bios to default. Also update bios to latest driver incase your running a outdated bios that doesn't fully support 5600x CPU. As this can cause instability and most b550 boards came out before 5000 series was released

1. Not a good brand PSU I doubt it can pull 750w stabile wise I would get rid of it before it's a fire hazard.

It's not uncommon for these PSU to be unreliable some last a year others a few but most end as a firework out the rear end of the unit. I would recomend seasonic gold focus 650w should be plenty for your unit. Thermal take tough series 650w or higher.

2. Always uninstall old graphics drivers before installing new ones it causes conflicts with hardware.

3. Actually not that strange some systems can cope when not fully stressed but if CPU for example finally is able to stretch it's legs more then it can cause errors. It can make pcs not work properly when the bios is not fully updated to support the processor properly.

Also if you recently updated windows to 11 that will also throw it off.
