Hi, recently bought a new graphics card. well new to me. its a gtx 670 2gb evga variant, upon installing my pc threw out 4 short error post beeps. i removed one stick of ram and it seemed to fix the issue. upon installing new drivers it all seemed okay. but when i attempt to open a game or even benchmark it the game or benchmark crashes. gta threw out a failed inizilation error when loading story mode. ive tried googling this and nothing. any other game i load fails at the loading screen, no game loads at all. does anyone have a solution to my problem or is this card faulty?

update got a new error from unigine heaven valley benchmark
D3D11RenderState::flushStates{}: cant create blend state
direct3d11 error:device removed
d3d11texture::createTextureCube{}: cant create RGBA8 4X4 cube texture RenderManager::createTextireCube{}:cant create texture

It looks like unigine cant access the 3D rendering on the card itself. Could be a driver issue or it could be you just have a bad video card. What are the temps doing when you try to run a game or unigine?

on idle im geting around 48 degrees.

That idle temp while not great is not that bad either. Is the card overclocked from stock in any way? You can try and under clock the card a bit and give it another go. You can also try and put new thermal paste on the card just in case it is ramping up to really high temps really quickly.
You can also try to reseat the card and verify that the PCIE power cable is securely connected.
The only other thing I can think of would be to completely uninstall all nvidia drivers reboot the machine and install the drivers again to see what effect that has.

the card is stock speeds from nvidia themselves, could the gpu bios be corrupted in anyway? the temps do not ramp up while trying to play anything. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers with no luck.

You can definitely try to flash the bios back on the card if you would like. I don't know if that will fix anything though but you never know. Honestly it just sounds like the card is bad I have only seen this once before on one of my cards an old GTX 560Ti and I never got it to work after that started happening. It's almost like the card is getting enough power to do the 2D text and windows stuff but once it needs to pull more power for the 3D graphics it just can't do it.
You can also try and put it in a different machine to see if you get the same results.

Hi,
I have got a graphic drivers problem in Dell Inspiron laptop. I have also asked some of the persons they also said that they didn't the answer for that.actually, I have got a problem when I attempt to open a game or even benchmark it the game or benchmark crashes then my friend has suggested me to install the graphics driver which I will problem solve.I have also searched on the internet and finally, I have found the driver websites.Now it is good working and better performance. If you install that graphic driver then you will get better performance.
Thanks.
