Hello, the other day when i was playing league of legends my twin frozr graphics card slid out of place due to a loose screw and it smoked a little bit, I can't seem to figure out what the issue is, i'm pretty sure i just blew a compactor, is there anyways to tell so i can repair it instead of having to spend $300 on a new card.

Solution
No Tension , this has happened to me a long time ago , with a 9500GT.
I got it fixed in 500 Rupees (4$) for a local LCD's repair Shop.
Visit near hardware shops around your area.
I gather this is on a pc? Why wasn't the card locked into the pcie slot? And why wasn't it screwed down to the rear case slot?

What the hell is a compactor? You can't re-solder SMD devices by hand - too much heat which destroys anything near it.

If the card no longer works, then you need to give it a decent burial and a fond farewell and put yourself into the graphics card buyers market.

Put the next one in with more care. Hope you haven't also caused damage elsewhere.

Yeah, But I',m not sure if that's the issue i just replaced it inside the slot and tried to boot, No beep and the fans ran but i didn't get any video on screen.

Well if they fixed it for so cheap I'm surely able to fix it myself, do you recall that the issue was, the card is PCI Express 2.1 x16 the fans work I'm just getting no video, Also no beep on Boot. Bios is set to boot with this card and my PSU is 650 W well big enough

As I said , exactly same happened to me , I just got it fixed from LCD repair shop , I don't know what they were saying , but they said It was fixed and then It worked fine :)
Get it to a shop , they will take care of it.
