Question Help! How can i fix this broken ram slot clip

See attached picture.

Its not affecting usage, but just hits my OCD nerves alot!

Please let me know if there is anything to replace the broken clip.

The broken clip may be the least of your worries.

First thought: Leave as is.

See all of those thin circuit traces around and under the clip. Trying to fix the clip is likely to cause further damage.

Second thought: How did the clip break? Manufacturing flaw or something else?

All of the clips appear (to my eyes) to have some melting appearance per the picture.

Seems to decrease with each clip upwards from the broken clip. May be just a matter of time until another clip breaks.

Heat/cooling problems perhaps. Are you overclocking?

Suggest that you update your post to include full system specs, OS, and configuration settings.

oh no its not heat. I forgot that this is a single sided clamp so i tried to open the side without clamps, and broke the clip.

The melting look came from superglues. I tried to attach the broken clip via superglue and failed miserably. Just too small to work with.

Can the white clip be taken out and inserted back in at will?
