Hi, well I rushed in and bought the Quest online as it sounded better ( display wise ) than the Rift S. Only when I was really thinking about splashing out so much money later that night I realized that I would also need a Link cable of some kind. Upon further searching I also realized that my graphics card ( 1080 Ti ) on has 3x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b BUT NO USB C argh!!!!!!
I've searched Google land but can seem to find a suitable cable or converter as all the USB C are male ended and I have not been able to find out if any will accept the signal into the HDMI and and out the USB C end ( which is the end that plugs into the QUEST.
Can anyone here help me with this problem? Or am I looking at reselling the Quest without opening it and taking a loss due to my eagerness to get my system up and running !!!!
