Help! I dropped a controller on my PC now my graphics are freaking out!

I dropped an Xbox controller on my PC a few minutes ago, now my graphics are going crazy! I also restarted the PC and one of the times I restarted it, a power supply surge occurred. I think that something got unplugged or broken but not sure what. Help!

Shut down, then -
Check that your graphics card is firmly seated in the slot.
Check the power to the card (if it has it) is secure).
Reseat both.

I checked both, and it seemed that the cord supplying the graphics card with power wasn't firmly seated, causing a power shortage in the card. I plugged it in all the way and it is now working fine! Thanks for the information!
