Help. I got an Acer aspire laptop. My name showed up but can't find password so must have tried. Am 73 & need help. It's locke

I bought an new Acer aspire before keeping grandsons in Texas @ Christmas. Am 73 & must have tried to log on but my name shows up & locked because don't remember password. No instructions. Any chance of fixing so I can use?

You will need to reinstall windows, there is no other option if you lost the password.

Next time write down the password somewhere safe (and NOT in the same room as the computer)
