I 'm not very familiar with computer components, but I can get a PC with the following specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core (32 threads) up to 5.7Ghz
CPU Cooler: CPU cooler Silent Deepcool AK620 DIGITAL 2x 12cm
Motherboard: Unknown
Memory: DDR5 memory ram Corsair 2x 32GB DDR5 RGB tot 6000Mhz
Storage: 2TB Kingston KC3000 SSD up to 7200MBs
Storage: 2TB Kingston KC3000 SSD up to 7200MBs
Video Card: Nvidia RTX 4090 24GB card
Case: Deepcool CH560 digital 4 RGB fans glass window

These would be parts to buy for a build. I'm presuming yours is a prebuilt/custom built? Can you link your build to Dragon Computers? Then we can configure it to give you the best solution.


The cooler you've post is not good enough for the CPU, you need something much stronger.

As others have said please change the formatting but what are you planning on doing? For gaming for example the 7950 isn’t the way to go. What CL is the RAM? Etc? Is this from a prebuild website? I also would not get a high spec GPU arm with NVIDIA rumoured to be launching the 5000 series soon

I must mainly do AI research, work on physics simulations in Unreal engine and some video-editing with large files (60 GB on average).

I don't see anything about what the PC will be used for, price range, or the Country.
I am so sorry. I work in Belgium. A company would give me this computer to do AI research, run physics simulations in Unreal Engine and I must do some video editing from time to time, apparently tons of 60GB files on average. My colleague configured this on a website for 4.000 Euro (4392 USD).

This is where I’m going to ask you how deep your pockets are because if you want the top performing model you’ll have to take out then 4090 and put in a RTX 6000 workstation card which costs around 6000-7000. I would also look at building yourself if possible because you’ll get better parts and/or it’ll be cheaper.

They agreed on a target budget of 4000 Euro (4392 USD) for the PC and 3000 Euro (3294 USD) for all peripherals, excluding VAT, but including a Blackmagic PCI capture and playback card for SDI I/0, around 550 Euro (600 USD). Unfortunately I'm a noob in computer building. Too much responsability.

Why do you need a capture card?
