Help in choosing Ddr4 8Ram for i5 6500 and Asus H170 Pro Gaming in Budget

Intel i5 6500 supports till 2133mhz right so getting a 2400Mhz ddr4 Ram will be a waste ?
Please help me to choose a Ram 8gb ddr4.
which are all good brands.
Any problem going with 1 stick 8gb and later going with a same model , frequency 8gb.
Any issues will be there.

Can get 2400 if cheaper - it will run at 2133 fine. Best to get full amount you want in a single package, there's no guarantees in 'adding' more DRAM even if it's the same exact model as what you already have (see items 2 and 6 in my article here:

why there are 2400 and above frequency then 6700k support till 2133z

H170 chipset supports up through 2133, if you went a Z170 with the 6700 could prob run 2666 or so, the 6700K can run much higher as it can be OCed to help the MC 9memory controller) handle even higher data rates

S normally all ddr4 ram comes in 2133mhz?
If i have K cpu and Z170 motherboard i can clock it 3000+
using XMP profile?

If the CPU can handle it, yes. Not all will handle 3000 without an OC on the CPU, silicon lottery - how good an actual chip you have

Silicon Lottery means Even the same model cpu but can differ in max overclock capability ?
