I have a windows 7 64 bit and when i boot my pc a blue circle appears at the minimized network icon and the circle is not spinning.
I can't access internet and when i start to fix something it doesn't allow me to go any where which is protected by administrator.

But in safe mode i can access everything and ofcourse internet as well.

good suggestion

but if they can access the net in safe mode with networking surely proxy settings would apply in safe mode?

yeah dont worry we know what the internet icon with blue circle looks like without a picture

why cant you access network and sharing ? is your account limited?

if some one has an administrator account on there and has limited your account you are going to struggle to fix anything

That depends (if there is something in the proxy settings). And what added it.

If it added a service or something as well. Booting into safe mode / networking you'll get net access, because most of the services are disabled. Inc whatever is blocking access when you boot into normal windows

Thats why it works in safe mode / networking

Download then run adwcleaner in safe mode / networking.

Wait for it to finish then click on clean. Wait for that to finish, then reboot. Run adwcleaner again click on uninstall

Then see if you can get online in normal windows

good thinking i just thought a straight forward proxy not about it adding a service

but i am beginning to think they are on a limited account--if so they are going to need the admin account holder to sort this probably
