Question Help! Ive got a new gpu and when i installed it the pc turns on but there is no display

I installed an rtx 3050 into my pc and it boots but without any display on my monitor. It cant be any other parts because when i removed it and booted the pc without it the pc ran fine, i currently have a 400w psu, could this be the main problem?

MSI GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G
AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics
8 GB of Ram
400w psu

Did you connect power to GPU?

Did you connect monitor to GPU?

nvidia lists 'Required System Power (W) (5) 550' (also msi recommended PSU) so 400w psu could be the problem.
