Help Laptop stopped turning on

I have an HP pavilion g6 and the hardrive failed so I replaced the hardrive with an ssd and then reinstalled windows 8.1 on it and then got to the desktop all fine seemed to be running smoothly then I went to install Google chrome and then it just about finished and then it just turned off then I couldn't turn it back on, keep in mind I had it plugged in the entire time.

Try removing the battery, unplug laptop from adapter and hold down the power button for 10 seconds then put back battery and try powering laptop,,,

The laptop is completely unresponsive no lights what so ever. The charging light doesn't even turn on when I plug it in.

Have you done what I told you to ?

Yes It was unresponsive before I did it and after I did it
