Help logging in to Skype

Just installed Skype onto my new rig and I can't login. I know the password (in fact I've just reset it ) Also, I remember my username. Skype just repeatedly says that it doesn't recognise the user information. I tried Logging in with my Microsoft account and it says that someone else is logged in with the same account. Pls help.

So maybe you're already logged in. Mine logs in on pc start up. If these a white S on a blue background bottom LH of screen then that's it

No I just freaking installed it

So if you haven't logged on before then you need to set your logon and password. Have you changed your email address? If so, you'll need a new logon

I have had this account for a couple of years now. I can login on my Mac, but when I shut it off (so that it isn't logged in to Skype) it still says that I can't login. The option to sign in with Facebook doesn't even show up.

[edit] I haven't changed my Email since I switched from Yahoo to Gmail (4yrs ago)

I fixed it but I needed to close the issue
