Low Fps on Games

Hello i just built my 1st pc with this specs:

Sapphire radeon r9 270x 4gb Oc edition
AMD a6 7400k black edition processor
16 gb on ram
f2a78m-d3h MB

i am getting low fps on games, in Chivalry Mediaval warfare 20-30 fps even if i lower the graphics, 30-40 bf4 on high graphics and 25-35 on ultra, i feel that i should be getting much more fps and already reinstalled the graphics drivers 2 times and OC GPU and CPU in AMD Catalyst Control Center with minimal results, could my processor be bottlenecking ? Please help !

[face slap] why do you have an APU with a GPU? that is a poor configuration, i don't know why you went that route. but aside from that, you have your system, lets figure it out. so are you connecting your monitor (as far as physical wires) through the motherboard or the gpu? also, what speed is your 16 gb of ram. and what are you using to cool your cpu for the overclock?

well im new to to this so a friend of mine helped me pick the parts, the box even said exepcional performance for advance gaming and stunning visuals XD, im cooling the cpu with a cooler master hyper 212 evo, my ram speed is 1600MHz ddr3, im connecting it through a VGA cable via DVI adapter on the GPU not the motherboard, its a shame because i just bought the parts, do u recomend changing the CPU ? which FM2+ socket CPU would be good for gaming?, im panning on playing Chivalry MW Maxed and would like to play BF4 on ultra but idk if my GPU is cappable of that. should i stick to this motherboard ?

well if it's not too late to return some parts, the cpu would be better switched out for an athlon x4 860K or even switch out the motherboard as well and get a pentium g3258 with a cheap z97 and overclock the hell out of it. that's up to you, but the a6 is an APU it's meant for light gaming on 720p and has built in graphics so doesn't make sense to run it with a gpu. also, 16 GB of ram is way more than you'll need. consider returning it for 8 GB @DDR3-2133 or something similar. aside from returning your parts, not much you can do except overclock as high as you can and adjust the settings and resolution until you find the best frame rate with acceptable quality

Hello again i installed the athlon 860k but now windows is somehow failing to start , i was succesfully able to start it 2 times but after minutes every program started to stop working and after that windows crashed ?! normally im getting my motherboards options menu and starts too load but it never endes >:C, shoul i install a fresh copy of windows ? i hope i didt damage the motherboard D: or maybe a problem with the new processor ?

Your motherboard most likely needs a BIOS update, you can find those at the mobo manufacturer website, although it could be a faulty part. That APU you had originally was very weak for any type of gaming, and that CPU is a good upgrade.
