Should i get the Thermalright Frozen Magic 240 or Deepcool LS520 SE?

Neither. Do you have some reason that you have to have a AIO water cooler.

If you look at the test results from almost any large cooler reviews you will quickly find that even mid priced air coolers cool just as well as 240 aio. The air coolers have gotten extremely efficient.

The only AIOs that can consistently beat air coolers are big 360 aio.

There is little need for the extra cooling capacity of 360 aio unless you are using overclocked intel cpu and as most people know it is not the best idea to overclock intel cpu anymore.

If you just WANT a 240 AIO it is going to mostly be which do you like better. Most the difference are in the LED displays and how the fan cables run. They all have little issues cooling most cpu.

Diminishing returns set in quickly, but may be HIGHLY important to you regardless...simply because you'd be unhappy with yourself if you didn't go for it.

I mean there is such as thing as "buyer's remorse".

Most people are somewhat vulnerable to it. Some more than others. Don't know about you at all.

Nearly everybody is sensitive to price to some extent. Don't know about you at all.

What would cause you to regret your choice? How big a deal would that be?

What might cause you to lean toward buying cooler A rather than cooler B?

Reviews? Anecdotes from strangers on the Internet? The last 10 dollars in price? We don't know.

Maybe you would spend 50 dollars more if you thought it would reduce the possibility of regret. Maybe only 10 dollars. Maybe nothing.

In the final analysis, it is highly personal and involves some degree of luck and guesswork. You could be happy or unhappy with any choice.

Key thing on coolers of any kind is do not get trapped by lower temp means better performance.

Spending lots of money on a cooler to get the temp to say 80 rather than 85 does nothing when the thermal limit of the cpu you are using is say 95.

Most other cooler choices are based on what physically fits in your case and what color scheme you like best.
