Hello, Friends i'm new to this forum i'm from india...

i'm stuck in choosing a psu for my new build can you help me in finding a best psu?

I have the following psu's in mind

Seasonic ss500es

Corsair cx500

Fsp Saga II 500w

so this are in my budget range so which one is the best?

Solution

If the comparison is between the Seasonic 500W S12II-500 Bronze (SS-500GB Active PFC) and the Seasonic SS-500ES (OEM) the Seasonic 500W S12II-500 Bronze has the higher quality and also has a 5 Year warranty. The OEM series usually only have a 3 Year warranty.

Efficiency-wise they are both 80 PLUS BRONZE certified.

The other difference is that the Seasonic 500W S12II-500 Bronze has one PCI Express 6-pin and one PCI Express 6/8-pin (a.k.a. 6+2 pin) power connectors and the Seasonic SS-500ES (OEM) has two PCI Express 6-pin power connectors.

Solution
Guys i finally setteled down for Seasonic s12ii 620 Bronze as all other models where not available. I know it may consume a little more power lets think that it's future ready...:)
Thankyou for all your valuable replies...

Guys i would like to ask one more question i just wanted to know . I have an coolermaster usp 100 black. the psu is mounted in the bottom now i would like to know whether the psu's fan should be facing upward(facing the motherboard) or downward facing the case(it has a vent below)...I know this is an off topic question but just wanted to know...

The PSU's fan should be facing down so that it draws its cooling air in from outside of the case instead of using the warmed air that is inside the case. That's why for the USP 100 (RC-P100) Cooler Master states "PSU placed at the bottom creates the independent cooling environment for power supply system." Even the marketing images for that case show the power supply with the fan facing down.
