Hi, I'm looking to get a good, budget 27in 144hz monitor. After browing around Amazon, these two came up. The AOC is currently at $299 and the Asus is $353. The spec of the two seem to be the same so I'm wondering why the price difference. Anyone have experienced these monitors b4? Thank you.

I personally prefer gaming on 27" monitors, bigger is better for me. Size tends to be a personal preference, it's the one thing I don't have a direct answer for. You however wont see a big difference in sharpness between 24 and 27" alike, only noticeable difference is the cost.
There isn't a 'huge' difference between the two, nor will you get a much better experience from the Asus either. I tend to recommend the AOC, simply because they've been producing quality products at excellent prices. After having great responses from the AOC G2770PQU in which I have recommended users to on multiple occasions, you really cant go wrong with it for the price. Both choices are great and both are quality units, but the AOC you will get better value for what you pay for. If you prefer the looks of the Asus, which many more do that is also a key part in your decision, you have to like what you look at, that may be worth the ~$50 to you.

Awesome, so it simply cheaper! So what's your opinion on 24 vs 27 in monitor? Lots of ppl said that at 1080p, 24in is better, but since I play mostly slow paced, RPG game (witcher 3, skyrim...) immersion is a huge part. Should I go for the even cheaper 24in counterpart for sharper images or go for the bigger, less sharp 27 in?
