Hi everyone,
I currently play on the AOC Q27G2S, which is a 1440p, 27", IPS, fake HDR400 display.

My main problems with it is the build quality, it looks cheap, it's plasticky, makes noises and wobbles when you mess with the OSD.

The panel itself is overly vibrant and inaccurate in SDR, and the HDR400 only increases it to the point of a burned, overly vibrant picture. There's also a weird yellow tint, something doesn't feel crystal clear, always yellowish.

Now, I hate aggressive curves so I already put aside the Neo G7/G8. I am also afraid of delicate coating, micro scratches, and an overly dim panel, so I spared QD-OLED too for now.

My best bet is the new AW2725QF so far. It's 4K, which is a step up from my 1440p, but will the PS5 even utilize it?
It has HDR600, 24 edge lit local dimming zones, and I am afraid it will be disappointing. Will it at least be a great improvement over the HDR400? Is it still fake HDR that's gonna ruin rather than improve anything?

And, the AW2725QF is an IPS panel as well, so the low contrast remains. I at least want to make sure I get a panel with no yellow tint, more accurate, bright, and vivid.

I want my games to come alive and my setup to feel more premium while justifying the purchase, but without breaking the bank.
Is AW2725QF a good investment and a decent upgrade for PS5? Or am I wasting money on a monitor that would make my games look similar?
