New build. I am purchasing both a 1tb and a 2tb M.2 ssd. I can't really decide which one to install the OS on. Can you think of any reason why it would matter which I use?

Solution
Are they both NVME?

(Makes little difference, as performance is typically quite similar given similar drives varying only in capacity)

I'd imagine the OS drive would be easier to completely image for backups if on a 1 TB drive, however...

Thanks for the help. For whatever reason, there always seems to be programs that don't let me choose which drive to install and just assume that I want it on the system drive. Still, even 1tb would be plenty and gives me options for the unexpected. Thanks.
