I need advice, which is better build from these two - lets say that price is the same for both.
Is memory compatible in both builds?

I dont want to overclock just to plug and play without bios updating and playing in bios.
Pc will be used for games and modeling, sometimes rendering.

I am worried for ryzen 5 2600 temps, is it generally good when we consider temps with stock cooler?

BUILD1 - intel:

MOTHERBOARD: asrock-z370-pro4
CPU: i5 8400
GPU: gtx 1060 6gb
HARD DISK: WD blue 1 tb 7200 rpm (I dont need SSD for now)
PSU: Corsair CX650M
RAM: Kingston HX429C17FR/16 (16GB 1 stick)

BUILD2 - Ryzen

MOTHERBOARD: msi-b450-tomahawk
CPU: ryzen 5 2600
GPU: gtx 1060 6gb
HARD DISK: WD blue 1 tb 7200 rpm (I dont need SSD for now)
PSU: Corsair CX650M
RAM: KINGSTON HYPERX FURY 16GB DDR4 2933MHZ / DIMM / CL17 / KIT 2X 8GB HX429C17FR2K2/16

Solution
I'd opt for build #2, if the price is the same (although I'd expect the Ryzen build to be marginally cheaper in most regions).

The AMD stock cooler is sufficient. It's not great, but temperatures should be perfectly adequate - especially at stock speeds.

are you going to use it primarely for games or for modeling and rendering?
oh and you don't need a Z motherboard because you are not going to overclock your build if i'm not mistaken

Thanks for answers,
Pc will be used mostly for gaming and modeling in sketchup for my work (or 3dsmax sometimes), rendering just sometimes so lets say rarely (I know that ryzen is better for rendering but I dunno how much is faster, in games its no big deal cause I am gaming in 1920x1080 and 60Hz)

Should I be worried about ryzen temps? My old PC had i5 4570 and temps are around 65 in load while gaming so if ryzen will not have more than 70 its ok for me.

Yeah I know that z is meant for overclock but they have better quailty components as I know so thats why I was choosing Z.
