i was wondering since im using a dell 690 workstation (ancient yes)
what would be the best motherboard to upgrade too. i just like the options and available slots on this dell thats why i got it as a starter rig. but it doesnt have uefi cause its outdated. otherwise i like everything else. i just bought a asus geforce 750 ti with oc, an got a orion spark g910 aming keyboard. so any suggestions would help. i will be playing most new games (bf4, bfh, witcher, evolve, gta etc0

Motherboard won't give u better performance. I would keep parts u just bought and sell the rest. You would need a new mobo, cpu, psu and ram and maybe case. You can keep hard drives. If budget doesn't allow then current setup should be OK for some low setting gaming

IM ALSO GOING to get a new cpu and psu. i already have corsairs 32gb of ram waiting for the new machine., the dell used ddr2 fully buffered rams so no new rams would fit.. (remember my computer rig was 10 years old) so im justr asking what would be the best bang for my buck and im trying to keep it under $350 thanks for your input.

i have ram, vid card, and peripherals. but im running on a low budget $200 but i only need a mobo, a cpu and a case possibly.

yes i know that just saying i have enough W as i wont be hardcore gaming till i have my parts up to date. and i usually use intel but since im on a budget i looked at amd and i gave options did you not click the links?

i know and i understand that but if you read previous responses you would understand i have most the parts to start a new gaming rig and i can also take out parts from the 690. i already can play steam games flawlessly including warframe and blacklight retribution and my system is a old dell precision 690.. cause its from what 2005-2007 or whenever they were made and the mobo doesn't have uefi mode so thats a big disappointment (glad i did research before i started to put money into it) and i got it for free. i want to upgrade cause i plan on playing BF4,BFH,Evovle,Witcher and other games (this year games). i just want something that can get me gaming somewhat and i have 200 to spend. mobo is def needed and cpu the case can wait but id prefer a decent cheap one or ones i picked as they are in stock at the store ill be going too ina few hours. also note i wont be putting money in to the system till around christmas or later, so itll have to work somehow or even for future upgrade-ability when i have money thanks

and i checked that case out i dont like it as i have 2 5.25 hdd+ 1 extra and 2 2.5 ssd lol also mobo id rather something bigger with crossover but crossover/sli isnt really important and i also i heard amd was better for budget gaming from what ive read (better fps just by like 10?) doesnt really matter but like i said best bang for my buck 😀 and im not ordering online im going into memex today so id rather a setup from what ive chose or little altered if possible just want the best i can get for the money i have.. also the mobo u picked i found this one and would it be better? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-sabertoothx79

but isnt AMD for budget gaming? i know intel is far more superior lol well recomend something with what i suggest or check memex and make me a list? if not possible then i guess ill order but id rather go do it today. thanks for your input thus far
