OOOH!!! another thing. I didn't get OEM versions of anything because i want all the cables included. are there any extra cables i need to purchase.

I guess i'll get these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836113013
there still very cheap, but i don't need amazing sound quality for my computer and i hardly ever turn up the volume to the point where i will hear the crudeness of the sound quality

thanks, just making sure

all righty then, time to do the math on this mess... hehey! not quite perfect, but still very good. only 19 bucks over the 800 budget i was aiming for. thank you so much

One last thing to consider - I, personally, don't really trust Hitachi hard drives. The price is very low for a 1TB drive, but you might want to consider a HD with a proven reliability track record like the WD6401AALS if you don't NEED 1TB of storage.

Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319&Tpk=wd6401aals $74.99

what about a WD 1 TB Drive

so will that motherboard possibly bog down the rest of my system?
I would like one with 2 pci express 2.0 slots just incase so all i have to do is replace the power supply rather than the PSU and Motherboard? but that is not priority.

Adding a motherboard that supports crossfire is going to raise the price even further. I really like the MA770T-UD3P and it gets good reviews also:

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mainboards/display/gigabyte-ma770t-ud3p.html

"...during our test session, we didn’t reveal any serious issues that could give anyone the reason to underestimate Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P. Especially, since it performs and overclocks just as good as Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P, for instance, that belongs to a much higher price range."

I don't see any reason to change the motherboard. You have a good system lined up. You don't need to keep second-guessing the components. Just pull the trigger. :)
