Not true. Recovery software can potentially recover data, but it's not a sure thing.
anandvishalgautam, if you can hook the drives up to a working computer you can try running one of the various data recovery softwares out there. I personally use GetDataBack, also EaseUS makes a well known product. The important thing is to not write any more information to that drive in your PC as the reduces the chance of recovery. There are free options out there but generally the paid ones do a better job. If you have a friend who can hook your drive up and run the software, or find a shop that will do it for you, you may be able to recover some of your data. If those options don't work, you can send the drive to a professional recovery service, but those tend to cost a good deal. But if your data is that important to you, it may be worth it.
