help me. please with my pc.

Right im not sure whats going on.. but i feel my pc isnt as powerful as it should aka fps low and stuff i will post below of all my stats and i rekcon its the power supply being too low... help me out thanks guys.. (my gpu needs 500watt)

The R9 200 series power requirement varies from 450w all the way up to 800w depending what model you have. You're not telling us much by just copying and pasting vague sys info.

The only R9 200 series GPUs that require specifically 500w total sys power are the 270X and 280 models. The only R9 200 series GPU that requires more than 700w, is the 295X2.

Do you have any justified reason to suspect it may be the PSU, such as fluctuating or unusually low voltage readings? What brand and model of PSU do you have?

i explained my gpu needs 500 watts. i dont have a justified reason just that ive noticed that fps is really bad when i have some really good parts...i mean i know my mother board is oldish.... so maybe its that i just need someone to overlook and help me diagnose why my pc isnt being as great as it could be. if its important to you heres a link ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4882#ov) thats my exact product....

I'm not trying to be rude either, just saying there's not enough indication it's the PSU at fault. In fact so far there's not concrete proof of FPS being too low, unless you tell us what games you're playing, and what settings you're using.

Often time people think their FPS is too low, and they find it's their settings and/or too high expectations. The 270X isn't all that powerful by today's standards.

The cases where evidence of something being wrong on the hardware end are usually validated by the performance dropping significantly from what it used to be, and so far you've not indicated that.

One thing you can do is try running MSI Afterburner with it set to show GPU and CPU usage onscreen to see if one is running way higher usage than the other, which typically means a bottleneck.

If temps and voltages are fine though, I would try adjusting game settings. That said, your PSU according to HARDOCP, a pretty reputable site, actually failed their testing (meaning it did not work at all when tested at peak 700w load).

Most people now a days know OCZ has a bad reputation when it comes to PSUs. It's plenty powerful enough for a mere 270X though, and normally wouldn't break a sweat running one. It wouldn't need to run anywhere near 700w on a 270x.

right... your helping alot thank you... erm i run farming sim and skyrim but i have alot of mods i just want it to run smoother ect ect other games like rust also doesnt run at 60 fps dont know why, i feel i have enough to run these games but i dunno maybe i want to much...?

Skyrim with mods is very hardware demanding, so I'm not surprised a 270x would struggle with that.

I'm not familiar with the other two games, but I do know some sim games can be very CPU demanding, but usually the city sim ones that have tons of AI.
