I am looking for help selecting affordable networked storage planned for home use. It does not need to be accessible from outside the network (I can always configure a server if necessary)
I am envisioning a simple rack of RAID hard drives with the rack connected to my home network via ethernet. I would very much appreciate assistance selecting the right hardware. When I tried looking on my own I was shocked by how expensive what I found was, so I am hoping that with a little expertise I will be able to find something more affordable and appropriate for my situation. I anticipate needing 30-50 terabytes, so probably need room for 15-25 drives.
