Question Help me set up my Corsair AX1600i ?

If ur cable is bad or the connectors are filmsy, it will melt, it's like if u use 10 amp wiring where u shud go with 16 amp wiring, so best bet is to leave at default settings, use the wires that came with the psu. Coz in game the 9070 or the 5090 can peek beyond 400 and in game it's hard to ensure everything is working properly on the psu unless it shuts off or shows sign of less performance.

EDIT
Oh sorry, I misread your question. I have no clue about iCUE settings.

There was a video a month or so back for Jayztwocents where he does some testing on the cable and its the PSU that is sending more voltage down 1 pin then the rest or the GPU pulling more power on a single pin then the rest...... which can cause the melting issue. Der8auer also had a video about this, but i dont follow him as well to find the video.

Unless iCUE is monitoring each pin going out of the PSU i dont think it will help. As a collective the cable its self should only be doing around 50 ish amps but that's a combination of all 6 power wires. The melting issue is when one pin is pulling way more amps then the other 5 but according to the socket is still within specs.
