Help me spend my money please

Hi Everyone,

Im purchasing a new HD. I am not looking for a large HD seeing that I do not store a lot of files. I think 250GB is the least I will buy.

Do you recommend SATA2 over SATA HDs? If so, Which SATA2 HD do you recommend?

Anyway, I just bought a 250GB SATA. If you mean SATA300 vs SATA150, I'd go with 300 with a 16MB cache. Here is the one I bought:

Glad to help. Other brand to consider are WD and Samsung. I prefer to stick with WD and Seagate because I don't consider Samsung a HD manufacturer, but I have heard some good things about them.

As for WD vs Seagate, I have alternated between the two. Recently WD has gotten some bad comments about reliability, though I cannot confirm this. At any rate, I imagine you'd be quite happy with either of the above or the WD versions of the same. Enjoy!
