Hello Guys, I am a pure NOOB in custom PCs. I have thought to make a pure hardcore Gaming/awesome multitasking PC but have 1-2 doubts regarding processors & motherboard! I have searched Google a lot and I came to an end that I'll be going with Intel core i7 4770K. So my main doubt, is this better than i7-3770K & i7-4771? I'll be overclocking upto 50% of the limit, will be playing hardcore games on ultra settings (I'll be using my TV as the monitor, Its Sony HX520 which is 40inch and fullHD, no multi-screen, and no SLI or Crossfire) I also have plan to do amazing multi-task(opening 10 tabs of Firefox + Photoshop + any game(eg bioshock infinite)) So Experts tell me which one is best for me, Also if you have any other Processor recommendation for me then that's also fine.

Secondly, Please suggest me the best motherboard & Graphic Card for the processor that you are recommending to me.

I hope I have given sufficient info, if anything else is required then please ask me I'll be happy to tell you!

EDIT: Budget JUST for these 3 components is 80,000 INR = 1295 USD (In USA components are cheap but it india they are bit higher so please keep the Indian price in mind also)

ANOTHER EDIT: I was looking out for graphics and I have chose to go with Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition or with GeForce 680. So tell the best among them in accordance to the Processor/motherboard/my need.
I may be looking very demanding, but I am very new to all these, everyone is a noob once, so please help me out today, may be I help you tomorrow :)

Really sorry I forgot it! My budget for only these 3 components is 80K Indian Currency

Please don't suggest me any online store, because Currently I just want to know the parts as per my first post. I'll be getting parts from my local store. So at the moment just suggest me the components which according to you are perfect for me. :)

ok so then suggest me as per any store (newegg, amazon, etc) suggest me something which doesn't goes above 1800$

..did you chose i5-4670K ...is it better than 17-4771?''

no ... i5 is simply cheaper then the i7 cpu...but if you can afford an i7 cpu why not?

''how about going with amd radeon hd 7970 for GPU?''

again ..is cheaper and perform really good

Ok so if you remove the cheap thing, then suggest the rig, Please use only AMD radeon 7970 for GPU Because geforece GTX is very very costly in india! And suggest a RAM which will unleash/ allow me to take out everything from the mother board. and remove processor cooler(i have it; and its best). And for mobo how it Asus Z87? is it better than the one you recommended?

you can choose any asus z87 motherboard ... they are all very good ... but i choosen the hero mobo because is built for gaming and the best overclocking possibility... and about the sound sytem.. thats the best integrated sound hardware in the world.
and go for i7 4770K ...for sure it will be a beast for multitasking and video editing

about the ram.. corsair, g.skill, muskin redline are really good and good quality

oh! ok.... BTW can you help figure out one problem that is, which of the following is the best for hardcore gaming at 1080p -

  • 2 X GTX 760 SLI
    Radeon HD 7970
    GTX 770

guys need some help in this--> I am unable to sort out that which of the following is best! plese help me out -

1) 2 X GTX 760 SLI
2) Radeon HD 7970
3) GTX 770

1 forget gtx 760 in SLI thats a waste of money
2 the gtx 770 is a lot better but expensive
3 the hd 7970 is a very good gpu and a lot cheaper then the gtx 770 , and have the same performance of this one (gtx 770)

But may check and online benchmarking and 760 SLI has the most number of F/S and that's also about 40-70% more. How can you say it as a waste of money?
