The 7950 is great for its price, OC and it might even smoke the 670.

It depends on your budget. If you have the money, go for it. Don't get Nvidia cards from the 6xx serie because Amd cards are way better this time.

If you want the best value card, go for a 7870. It's working very good and doesn't cost a lot.

The gHz Edition of AMD cards have higher clock speeds (around 1000 mHz memory clocks, hence gHz) than ordinary iterations.

If gHz Edition 7950 is unavailable, you could always grab an ordinary version and OC it yourself. Another attractive option would be 7870 LE/XT, which have cut down Tahiti GPUs, the same ones found on the 79-- series.

Any 670 will be faster than any 7950 but ofcourse not as fast as 7970

I say, if you can afford a 670, get it but in my opinion the performance difference would be negligible enough that you can get the 7950 and be content with it.

no its not. Most of the 7950's coming out now have boost clocks that are between 925-960 mhz which will beat a 670.Not to mention once both cards are overclocked to there full potential a 7950 will bury it.pretty sure they never made a ghz 7950 its 7970 only

Im not going to argue with you i have had them all to stop giving the op bad advice.A 7950 at 925 mhz will run equal to a 670 trust me ive run every test under the sun and even the review reflects that get a clue

+1 Check benches and see if the additional FPS a card gives is worth the cash, OP

Well, I'm for helping OP. So could you post benches, your own maybe?

Are you guys this blind?Look at the bench of a 900 mhz 7950 against a 915 mhz gtx 670 there is less then a 1 fps difference. The facts are sitting right infront of you for gods sake.925 mhz 7950 will atleast equal the 670 in that bench at 960 mhz it would beat it.Stop being dense

Woah, woah, chill. I wasn't being antagonistic, I was asking if you were keeping benches of the tests you ran, 'kay?

Okay. If you've seen my first posts, I recommended the 7950 to OP, so we're on the same boat. The whole point of my posts was to tell the OP that the performance difference between 670 and 7950 are negligible, as per benches.

the gtx 660ti is out for me i guess even its a bit cheap, coz i dont play the bundle has nvidia giving,
my option is a gtx 670 from evga i might get it but the thing is 7950 is a great deal for me here
a HIS 7950 has bundle crysis 3 and bioshock infinite, it cost me about 309+ tax then i will get some sleeve cables
but i already have a crysis 3, so i got extra one 😀
at first i was getting gtx 660ti, but u guys clear me the better option for me thanks!
i will get one next week 😀
