So I have a old hp pc that we don’t use and I want to buy a gaming pc but I don’t have the money for it. I already did upgrades to it like moving from a he’d to an ssd, installed a house, put a phenom ii x4 945 in it. I installed a WiFi card because I wanted to move it up to my room but the router has to stay downstairs. The ram is 4gb of ddr2 but only 3.7 is useable. Please tell me what upgrade I can do to the ram.

Is Windows 32 or 64bit? Can't upgrade more than 4gb on 32bit OS.

If Windows is 64bit i guess you could try find 2x DDR2 4gb 800MHz sticks, bring a little life to it. If your board has integrated graphics then that's probably where portion of ram is going to.

What does house mean? Case? Weird terminology for a case lol but i guess it works.

I did more research and it says my motherboard only supports 4gb of ram so maybe I can find ram with a higher clock speed. It’s also a 64 bit os

higher clock speed doesn't always work either. the motherboard has its limitations for clock speed, so does the CPU. if your.currrnt RAM is under the motherboards capable clock speed (so as the CPUs capability) then you could upgrade.
Also note that if you do put on ram sticks with higher clock speed (mhz) than it's capability, nothing would happen, but it won't run that the ram's possible speed, rather the motherboards/CPUs max supported speed.
