im a first timer so please tell me your thoughts on this build.

I also live in Indonesia man. I have a few important suggestions for you to consider. The most important thing is that you buy parts that have Garansi RESMI and NOT Garansi Distributor. RESMI means that the company is set up or has a branch in Indonesia. This usually means they also have a service center in Indo. One example is for your PSU: instead of getting that Seasonic PSU (even though it's okay), I would suggest getting a Corsair CXM instead because they actually have a service center in Indonesia so if you have any issues they will replace it fast. With a Distributor warranty, you will have to wait until they send...

This comes in just a couple dollars more expensive than what you had picked out, but is a much faster overall system.

The dual SSD allow OS/Applications on the 500GB drive and then games on the 1TB drive.

indonesia, south east asia
This is all in the USA, but would at least give you a starting point to look at for Indonesia.

If you don't mind the watermark you can run Win 10 in free mode until you can purchase a license.

Alright, I'm having trouble fitting that kind of performance into $850. As in, it can't be done. So, here is as close as I can get within budget.

This is as close as I can get, and keep to the spirit of the original build. I'd suggest dropping Windows for now and getting a license later. You can run Windows unactivated with minimal feature loss. It will hold you over until you can get a license, or you can try getting a discounted license. There are places that offer them for like $30-$40.

If you had some parts to reuse we might be able to get the price down a little more... or maybe go with something more like this:

This would be functionally similar, but giving up a bit in video card performance. That said the RX 580 isn't a BAD card, though it is old. It will still be great for 1080p gaming. Again, dropping Windows would free up the money to go for a more powerful video card.

the s12III is the one seasonic model I do not suggest anyone buy.

With a Distributor warranty, you will have to wait until they send it to the factory overseas and fix it before sending it back to you. When it comes to things like hard drives, it's less important because normally they can fix that locally whatever happens. My Seagate arrived dead but got replaced in a week. Although I still think I'll get Toshiba or WD next time.

I would suggest the following changes for you:
  • The MSI B450 Tomahawk is of better quality. You should consider picking this up if you're planning to overclock the CPU as it's almost 400thou cheaper. For Wi-Fi you can just get a TP-Link TL-WN725N USB dongle for 60rb.
  • For the PSU I will recommend the Corsair CXM 550 for 200thou more.
  • For the case if you want tempered glass for the same price you can find the Zalman S5 or for another 200thou gets you the Phanteks P300 and NZXT H510.
  • For your GPU, the RTX 2060 offers the same gaming performance and it's only 5jt. If you're gonna spend 6jt on a GPU, you can get the 2060 Super.
  • You can save 1jt on Windows by going on Ebay.com and buying a Windows 10 Pro OEM key for 5$.
If you give me your budget, I will let you know what I can build but I am guessing your budget is about 14-15jt? Which btw is about 1,000$ US so if you manage to build that part list by spending 850$ US only you have to tell me where you buy your stuff from because I want to know.

All prices were checked on Tokopedia. Here is the build:
  • R5 2600 - 1.8jt
  • B450 Tomahawk - 1.8jt
  • Team T-Force Dark Z 2x8GB 3600Mhz CL16 - 1.2jt
  • SSD 500GB - 800rb
  • WD Blue 2TB - 700rb Distributor / 800rb Resmi
  • Zotac 2060 - 5jt
  • Phanteks P300 - 900rb
  • Corsair RMX 550 - 1.2jt
  • Deepcool Fans - 550rb
TOTAL 14 JUTA

I hope this helps. Let me know what you think.

im glad to have someone from the same country. it makes everything much easier.

so i get the 1070ti fot 3.2jt. and i dont think its worth it to add 1.5jt for 10+ fps
i found this used rm550x in tokopedia for 910rb.
for the p300 case, is it good for airfow? it seems like its frontside is closed. what about cougar mx330 for 550rb?
should i really get the 3600 mhz ram?

I see, so you're looking at second hand. For 3.2jt the 1070ti is definitely a great pickup.

As for the PSU, I generally stay away from second hand as you never know where it's been or how it's been used. I really don't want to risk burning my setup and even my house while I'm away to save 300thou, which is 20$.

The case is all up to personal taste and preference in the end so it depends on what you like. I used the P300 for friend's build and it's getting good temps. I'm just a huge fan of tempered glass as I hate seeing scratches.

The 3600Mhz is just the new recommended speeds. But 3200Mhz is also fine.

In the end, I'm just giving you options for you to consider.
