I recently bought used Westinghouse L2410NM for around $110, and now my windows won't recognize it as a monitor with HDMI (rather a HDTV) and when I use D-sub cable it doesn't use its full resolution (1920x1200) rather only works till 1920x1080. Again recognition problem?
I have searched so much and learned that it is probably incorrect EDID info problem, and after hectic work with trying to learn what EDID is and to work around adding correct EDID info through moninfo.exe without any luck, I'm exhausted. What I learned so far is that intel don't let EDID overrides.
My PC = Windows 8.1 with Intel HD 4600 on ASUS Pro z87
Please tell me there is a way around to my problem? Even if hdmi doesn't work atleast d-sub should work properly but it isn't.
