Hi,
I 'll get into it. I have a h110m-s2h motherboard. I also have an i5 6600k with arctic i32 CO installed. Now, arctic uses a slim metal road to attach the fans to the heatsink. I was messing about and what happened was that I accidentally made contact with the 2. I heard a cackling sound and smelt some burning electric thing. When I tried to turn on the pc, the led on the power switch worked, the leds on speakers (connected to the motherboard by usb) worked, but the motherboard Leds didn't. The system did not start and I can't do anything. The speaker makes a strange low quiet sound when I turn the PC on. I know I probably need to replace my motherboard, but will this have damaged my CPU too?? Also, the fans do not spin and the only other thing is that the an hub, which is connected by a sata power cable and a wire to the motheeboard. The Leds on this turn on for the smallest amount of time but then turn off. I have no idea what's happening, but as long as the motherboard is the only thing damaged, im fine. Should I take my pc to a professional to diagnose these issues? Thanks
