So my mouse cursor changes to the older OS arrow, with the long 'stem' ,I guess, randomly, and sometimes changes back to normal Windows 10 style when loading or something. Also, windows like Malware Bytes, which I happen to be running right now because I'm freaking out about possible viruses, look MUCH different with big borders, and bigger Close, Maximize, Minimize buttons. PLEASE HELP! I hope this is not a virus

No, I haven't tweaked the mouse settings, it just happened to be like this on startup. Also, Malware Bytes is scanning right now, and it detects Spy Hunter by Enigma as a PUP, and Spy Hunter is what my father uses to remove viruses. Is this a good program? I'm not sure if it is malicious or slows down the computer.

PUP stands for Potentially Unwanted Program. Not a virus, just something that some installmonsters throw onto your computer, so it's flagged. Lemme know if the solutions work, though

Oh my lord 635 threats detected? It flags Wise Registry Cleaner and Spyhunter as PUPs, dang. So, I don't think it is a virus, but would a system scan be necessary? Like the thread you linked?

an sfc /scannow never hurt. I had a problem where I couldn't type in the windows menu and it fixed it for me. Various other bugs too

It'd probably be fixed by the sfc scannow, if you have it automatically replace bad files. Try it first, and see if it fixes the problem :)

Thanks! But I have been wondering if what I did earlier might have affected this. So, when I turned on the monitor I was on the lock screen or login screen where you enter a pin code, and I was messing around with the buttons on the lower right, and so I was turning high contrast mode on and off, on and off, and same with filter keys and other things. Could that have messed with something?

Update: SFC / SCANNOW pulled up no integrity violations :/ Great...

If it messed with anything, it'll just be on your monitor. I don't see your cursor in any of your screenshots, so I really don't know. You've tried adjusting pointer size? the ease of access panel has a mouse tab, and also check out the "other options" tab

Thank you! It worked! I changed it to a theme I had a while back. It changed my desktop background, mouse cursor to a larger one I used to use, but I like it. It fixed the crappy window look!
