HELP!!!!! My comp. won't load my new Starcraft CD

I recently bought a new Starcraft CD but it won't load on my vista. I tried a different CD on my computer and it loads

up fine. So then i tried the Starcraft CD on a different computer and it loads fine. So now i know my starcraft CD and

my CD-rom are both ok. But my CDrom just won't play starcraft specifically. Ive tried uninstalling the CD-rom and

reinstalling, ive tried shutting off autoplay still nothing worked. After i put the SC CD in the mouse shows a CD

popping up from time to time and it makes a loading sound but then nothing happens. If i click the CD-rom it says no

CD is on it. i need help pls.... anyone.. im going crazy

Do you have more that one CD/DVD player on your comp? Is the other computer same operating system? Which star craft are we talking about? You might have to run the program in compatibility mode?

How old is the cdrom in question? Maybe it's beginning to fail or there are some CDRoms that are so old they do have problems with the latest copy protections on games.

try right clicking and choose run as admin.
