Help my folders are not working !!

Documents and desktop folder do exactly what the other does e.g. if I create a folder on the desktop it appears in my documents. I have tried moving them and restoring them to default but now whenever I move one to a different folder the other does the same as well! HELP!!! I know I haven't given information in great detail so if more info is needed please just ask!!
 
Basically when I built my computer I used an SSD and a HDD and the SSD doesn't have a huge capacity (240GB). So I moved my main folders (i.e. Docs, Desktop, Vids, Music and Pictures) to my HDD to save some space on my SSD, this worked fine with all of them except DOCs and desktop.
 
All you have to do is open file explorer, click on the file icon. Go to the desktop icon, right click, scroll down to properties, click on properties, go to the location tab and click, click on move and choose your new location, you can also choose to move all of your current files to the new location. Click OK.

Repeat the process for your documents. All done.
 


I have already done this with my folders and it has some how caused my Doc and desktop folders to become linked
 
I know your only trying to be helpful, but read the first post, when I change the location of one (Docs or Desktop) the location of the other one changes as well e.g if I change the location of Docs to
"D: documents" then the location of desktop will also move there.
