Help! My GPU might not be working properly.

Hello! People of Toms Hardware. I come seeking help.

So recently, my graphics card ( 750 ti ) has been declining in frames, 3 weeks ago I was getting 60 frames in dark souls 3, all low graphics settings. Now I'm getting an average of 20 frames. I updated all drivers, I'm getting enough power the the card. I don't know what is happening

Have you cleaned the heat sink on the card with compressed air recently? Do you know what temps you are seeing on the GPU and maybe CPU while gaming?

check the GPU temp and check task manager to be sure nothing else is hogging your usage

I'll chime in too. Check for dust in your case and fans. Clean it up if you find any accumulating or obstructing your fans. Dust will cause overheating, which will cause your GPU to throttle back to lower the temperature.
