the story behind this is I was playing world of tanks with my laptop last night until I got disconnected and hitted it a bit hard (beside the touchpad) but after that it was still playing fine for 2-3 hours until I slept (the laptop still turned on) when I woke up it was with a BSOD and me scratching my head why since it was fine just last night is the problem the hard drive or the OS

the specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo T9400
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
4GB RAM (might be a DDR2 or DDR3 not sure but its 4GB)

I tried:
start up repair (which it did "repair" by rolling back a registry entry but still no effect)
boot in safe mode (but could get past Windows\System32\drivers\Aswrvrt.sys)
tried system restore and image restore (but I have no image or points saved)
opened the laptop to disconnect and connect the hard drives (no effect)

what do you think is the problem? and thanks in advance to whoever can help me identify the culprit and try and fix it...

You might've shaken up you Hard Drive lol I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure where you hit your laptop thats where the Hard Drive is lol XD I'd recommend getting a new laptop/desktop or to replace you Hard Drive, Next time punch a pillow or yell lol

so basically I have to replace the hard drive? but if thats the case then the drive shouldn't run right?

I don't have a CD installer but rather a USB installer is it still doable?

buying a new hard drive now as it doesn't even properly reformat or even chkdsk (still at 60% @ stage 2 at the time of this writing)
