I just bought a brand new notebook, it has an A12-9720P CPU, a Radeon R7 and a dedicated RX 540 as GPUs. Problem is, I am not able to set applications that can use the RX 540 instead of the R7 in AMD Radeon Settings (v.17.12.1) : you see, looking up on the internet returns only stuff that talks about "Additional Radeon Settings" but that doesn't exist anymore, and if I set an .exe to "High Performance" in System > Switchable Graphics it still sticks to the R7, and all of the recent applications in the program renamed themselves to Query-External_* randomly. ( https://imgur.com/a/rbRCa ) How do I solve this? For some reason one of those .exes actually manages to run on the RX 540. Thanks in advance for the help!

Additional info: GPU-Z shows 0% load on both GPUs, HWMonitor only detects the R7 (and it says that it is being used). Also, on Amazon somebody recommended a "clean install" after buying the notebook because the drivers were messed or something like that, however I can't do that or I'll nullify the warranty.

Outdated guide. This guide still uses "Additional Radeon Settings" which is no longer used by AMD Radeon Software.
Setting a process to "High performance" in AMD Radeon Software doesn't make the process switch to the other GPU (the program also says which GPU is going to be used). The only program that currently has access to the RX 540 is GPU-Z, and it accessed the GPU automatically (probably only because the program NEEDS the GPU).
