I just created an account specifically for this, so please pardon if i did something wrong here.

So I've been having PC issues for a little while now. My hdd failed and i bought a new one and put a clean install of windows 10 on it. Before the new hdd it would either freeze and i'd have to hard reset, or it would just lose power, like someone unplugged it.
Now, i've noticed that it mostly freezes when it's idle... when I'm not using the keyboard or mouse.

Specs:
Nvidia 960 4gb
AMD FX 8320
Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 motherboard
240 gb SSD with clean Windows 10 install (i've done it three times and the problem persists)
8gb DDR3

I've done some research on the problem but found nothing conclusive. I went into the event viewer and got the exact time of the event. Here are some pics of what it says:

That's all i have on event logs... i think. It's still new to me so i may have missed something. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This problem has been a plague for weeks.

Those things will NOT cause your computer to freeze. The first one is simply telling you that the nvidia streaming service shut down, which unless you have a Shield device you do NOT need. You should just disable all streaming functionality and that error will go away.

The rest seem to be licensing issues, maybe your firewall is blocking valid software for no reason.

Freezing during idle can be a sign of memory or power issues, but general mobo issues shouldn't be ruled out. Try reflashing the bios and testing the memory

Sorry for the late response, i was doing the memtest and then my PC turned off and when i turned it back on, the monitor had no signal and the power button wouldn't even turn it off again. I took it apart, rebuilt everything, and it turns out that i had two of the 4-pin power connectors plugged into an 8-pin slot by the cpu when i was only supposed to have one. So much for reading the manual!

All is running smooth as of right now. Is is still early yet, but if there are more problems i'll be back with more details. Thank you!
