I plan on getting a new PC for this Christmas (yey) and by now I have chosen some parts. However, I really need help with picking the CPU and therefore the motherboard and the wattage of the PSU. I will be purchasing it at a local company (I'm from Bulgaria btw) but I'm not sure they are a hundred per cent reliable for an in-dept advice.

So here's what I have by now:
GPU - EVGA GTX 750Ti 2GB
Memory - 2x4 GDDR3 1600 GEIL EVO POTENZ
HDD - 1T SATA 6G/7200/64M
SSD - Kingston SSD SV300S37A 120GB
Case - Cooler Master 431 Side window
DVD - some cheap LG

I also have an EVGA 500W Active PFC80 power supply in mind but since the build is not done I'm open for suggestions.

As you can see, it's not really a high-end build but my goal for it is to be perfectly usable for browsing, gaming at 1680x1050 (maybe 1080p), maybe some photoshop. But mainly for gaming at a really descent rate.

What is your budget for the motherboard + CPU + CPU cooler?

As for the components you mentioned, I would swap the SSD with Samsung EVO, the Kinston model you listed used to be a great SSD a year ago, but recently Kingston started using cheaper components for this model and now it is not even as half as fast as before.

For the PSU, I would recommend XFX Core 550W, this one should be able to last you a long time and can run even the most power-hungry graphics cards (as long as you are using only one).

swap out the 750ti for an r9 290 as they r coming real cheap for around 250$ and get an i5 4690k with the cooler master hyper 12 evo and that should last you a while
p.s
get a gtx 970 if it fits your budget

Unfortunately, where I live the technology world is completely crazy and if we convert the price from my currency to usd its around 460 dollars. So.. yeah, that's way too much for my budget. Though, thanks for the advice.

Yeah man, I'm from Croatia and understand perfectly well. That's why didn't even bother to recommend you anything else knowing that things are just way overpriced in our region. Between 20% and 50% higher prices as compared to the ones listed in USD is what we all get here.

Nothing wrong with your build, BTW. Just swap the SSD with Samsung EVO, and graphics card will be OK for the resolution you mentioned. However, do not expect it to last long, I can give it maybe one year and then you will have to get a new card. If that's fine with you, great.

And XFX / Seasonic / Corsair RM (up to 650W) supplies are great. Pick any of them. 550W would fit both your current and future needs, as long as you stay on single graphics card and don't go SLI/Crossfire.

Haha, I finally found a damned soul like me. It's indeed quite frustrating when one follows the world of technology in America and bases their knowledge in them while the actual price of things here is so much higher (though the standards of living is not even close to each other). If for a man from USA it's achievable to have a 750$ PC, here I find it nearly impossible for most of th people. Too bad 🙁

As for the time I'm going to need the PC to be up-to-date with the ongoing at that time games, I plan on using it just for about 1.5 - 2 years, as I probaby will be studying abroad and the PC stays at home, where my family will use it mainly for surfing the web. However, I will check on the Samsung SSD you mentioned and will probably use it in the build.
