I have Asus M4N68T-M-Le-V2 motherboard...My front panel ports are not working at all But my back Audio and USB ports are working fine...I'm using Windows 8 OS currently and i also tried on Win7 but it didn't work..
What i did so far:
-I thought it might be the problem with drivers so updated, reinstalled etc...
-I checked the connectivity of the front panel to the motherboard,it seems there is a wiring to motherboard port which is saying front panel..(I don't know if its a connection for both Audio and USB...Big ?? here) and there is no other pin which is saying front panel and so...
-After some googling i found that Asus boards by default use HD Audio and its currently running on my system.According to some experts,by changing the front panel setting of HD audio to AC'97 in bios will work..SO i did the same and saved and restarted....Now it still showing HD audio in my system tray and still no sound from the front panel...
In device manager under Audio it shows Digital Audio (HDMI )
I have HD 6670 graphics card which is connected to monitor via VGA cable..
How do i make it to work...?
Is the problem with Motherboard or with cabinet itself? (my cabinet is from Zenith)
