Question Help Needed - Random Crashes with New Build, Possibly PSU Issue?

Hi everyone,

I recently built a new PC, but I’ve been running into an issue where it randomly crashes when I launch a game or open Steam. This doesn’t happen every time, but it’s frequent enough to be frustrating.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

The RGB lights on the motherboard, RAM, cooler, and case fans stay on after a crash.

The case and cooler fans seem to struggle to start, and there’s a clicking noise coming from the PSU.

When it crashes, the power button becomes unresponsive, so the only way to shut it down is by switching off the PSU directly.

I checked the Event Viewer and saw an "Event ID 41" error, which seems to indicate a power-related issue.

I tried plugging it directly into a wall socket instead of a power strip, but unfortunately, that didn’t help.

Now, I’m at the point where the system reaches the boot animation but it crashes when I'm in the BIOS. When I power it on, the RGB lights come on, the fans start up, but there’s no signal to the monitor.

Here are the full specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2

PSU: GIGABYTE UD750GM Power Supply Unit - 750W, 80 PLUS Gold Certified

RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600

Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler

Graphics Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 EAGLE 8GB

Case: Phanteks XT Pro Ultra ATX Mid Tower Case

Monitor: LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 24GS60F, 24 Inch, 1080p, 180Hz

Any ideas on what might be causing this? Could it be the PSU, or should I look into other components? Thanks in advance for any help!

Are the bios and chipset version up to date? Have you tried setting the memory to 3200mhz or 2666mhz?
