Hi,
So,im looking for an affordable usb flash drive on the internet and ive ended up with two options. One, is the Kingston DT50 64gb wich is about 10€ and it supports USB 2.0/3.0/3.1 Gen 1.And the second one is the Sandisk Ultra flair 64gb wich I found at a great deal from 22€ to 12€ but it only supports 3.0 and its a bit problematic, since reviews have shown that it gets extremely hot and might consult in a problem in the future.I want to use my flash drive on a usb 2.0 port,so I was wondering if I would benefit more on the kingston dt50 since it natively supports 2.0 speeds, while the sandisk one doesnt. The sanddisk one does actually achieve much higher speeds than the dt50 when plugged in a native 3.0 port rather than the dt50 when plugged in a 3.1 port.So which one should I buy? Will I benefit more from the DT50 since it supports 2.0 speeds?

Solution
I was reading some reviews about them. People recommend both, but some say the Kingston one is a bit bulky, and you might not be able to fit another usb device into the next port. It's a gamble really, they're both good brand but you could get a faulty one from any manufacturer. Where i usually buy IT items from, the SanDisk Ultra Flair 64GB USB 3.0 costs 5 euros more than the other one. I've asked an accredited pc specialist from that place for you and he recommended the SanDisk.

An USB 3.0/1 device plugged onto a USB 2.0 port will behave exactly like any other USB 2.0 device. So it doesn't really matter.
I recommend you Kingston DataTraveler SE9 G2 64GB USB 3.0. Works wonders for me, in the specifications it says they write at a speed of 15 MB/sec., but mine varies from 20-25 for some reason. And they're about 10-12€.

Well,my shop doesnt actually have that one.I can order it online, but the shipping costs are higher than the stick itself.I think I'll go with the DT50.I want to watch movies with it and I dont want it to get damaged cause of the heat. But still, there has to be a reason why the Sandisk one costs originally 22€.And 12€ is a great deal. Can you please recommend one of the two?
