Hi, so I recently bought my new rig about 1-2 months ago. However, after about 3 hours of gaming (sometimes more), my computer freezes/hangs. The sound loops and I can't move my cursor nor do any commands.
These are the specs:
CPU: i5 2500k
MOBO: P8P67
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X F3 DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24, 2X4GB
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850
PSU: Antec NEO ECO 520W
OS: Windows 7
The games that have triggered the crashes so far are:
Team Fortress 2 & APB:Reloaded.
This problem doesn't seem to occur when playing more GPU-intensive games such as Crysis 2, Deus Ex:Human Revolution & Dirt 3 on max settings.
All the drives are up to date and I have ran memtest86+ for about 7-8 hours, prime95 for about 5 hours & 3dmark05/11. All of which had no errors. 🙁

About a few days ago, unexpected reboots were added to the mix.. After about the same duration of gaming of 3+ hours. But my computer still freezes/hangs sometimes.
Please help! I have no idea what is happening, this is my first rig and I do not know what to do. 🙁
