I've been on my current laptop for far too long now (I have an HP Envy 14 from like, 2010 or 2011, or something). I should've upgraded years ago, but here we are. To say I'm overdue is an understatement at this point.

I'll be jumping back into WoW with the new expansion release, so I'd like a PC that can handle that without issue (shouldn't be asking for a lot nowadays), but also a system that is "future proof" for some of the newer games I'm interested in, as well.

Outside of gaming/casual gaming, no other real needs to highlight.

I'd like to work within a budget (TBD), but I'm also interested in some of these higher end boutique-type companies. The two below are at the highest end, I think, but I'm sure there are dozen others at various quality- and price-points.

Looking at models with at least the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11gb GPU -- may be overkill for WoW, but again, going with the future-proofing.

Anyway, please offer any/all suggestions for custom, pre-built desktop PC's. I know of Alienware, amongst others, but would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

I know many recommend and prefer the "do it yourself" route, but honestly, I just don't have the knowledge or confidence to go it alone. I'd rather pay a little extra for the peace of mind.

The Corsair One is another that I’ve added to the list (with Puget, FNW, etc.) — good call.

Regarding budget:

I really don’t know. I figured $2000-ish would be fair. I know I’m looking at ~$800 for the GPU, to your point, so I’m open to dialing things back if the next tier down is worth the cost-savings.
